Our role the care of young children within the Preschool is both, to care for the and nurture them in a healthy and safe enviroment so as to pormote their development and learning The importance of Preschool education is highlighted in the Early Years Study report by Hon. Margaret Mccain and J.Frazer Mustard. The report emphasizes the development of the brain in the first tree years of life, sets the base of competence and coping skills for the later stages of life. The measure of brain development is in five general domains: physical health and well being, social competence, emotional maturity, language richness, general knowledge and cognitive skills.
