Partnerships
Over the years, Workforce Planning for Sudbury & Manitoulin (WPSM) has developed and fostered strong partnerships with employers, industry leaders, business associations, unions, Employment Ontario (EO) services, educational institutions, economic development organizations, designated groups, various levels of government and others.
Based on current Labour Market Information (LMI), research and consultations, WPSM provides evidence-based advice to our partners and supports local labour market initiatives and special projects.
Each year, as part of WPSM’s mandate under the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, WPSM also leads four partnership projects to address current and emerging workforce issues.
